Resources for Elders and Caregivers

Because of the Prescott Tri-City area's large retirement population, there are many agencies, private businesses, and programs available to assist you if you are a senior, or the family or friend of an elder in our community. Although Loose Ends provides services for people regardless of age, there are times when free or specialty services may be more appropriate.

In the spirit of helping & community, we list other services you may need to be aware of (please note that none of these listings constitutes an endorsement or advertisement; these listings are provided as a public service only).

Special thanks to Carol Thomason, who inspired the creation of this page while she was a caregiver for her mother. I also want to give credit to Annie Gaddis, Just the Necessities, and to Steve Bergmann, a Social Worker with Nurses Network (928.772.8707), both of whom generously shared their resource lists with me.

Please share titles of books you find which others might find useful. (Examples at left).

As the information provided here may change, will you please contact me so that I can update these listings? Contact me at katie@LooseEnds.net.
